On July 4, 2021, American Independence Day, at the American cemetery of Colleville sur Mer, the association «Les Fleurs de la Mémoire» honored the memory of all the American soldiers who fell during the Second World War by distributing roses to the visitors so that they may flower the graves of their choice in the cemetery or at the foot of the Wall of the Disappeared and by laying a wreath of flowers at the monument erected in their memory, followed by the American Anthem and respect for a minute of silence.
