As every year, Les Fleurs de la Mémoire took part in the ceremonies marking the 81st anniversary of D-Day in Normandy. This year, our volunteers attended the commemorations in Graignes on June 5, followed by Angoville-au-Plain on June 6.
On June 5, our volunteers gathered at the Graignes Memorial to the Paratroopers and Civilian Victims, a symbolic site honoring the courage of the American paratroopers who fought during the Battle of Normandy.
On June 6, the association also participated in the commemorative ceremony held in Angoville-au-Plain, another important place of remembrance linked to the events of D-Day.
Through these commemorations, Les Fleurs de la Mémoire continues its mission: preserving the memory of the events of 1944, honoring those who fought for freedom, and passing this legacy on to present and future generations.
