On August 26, the Conseil Départemental de l’Orne invited the Flowers of Remembrance to the ceremony marking the end of the Battle of Normandy, alongside representatives of the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Poland, Ukraine, Belgium and France.
45 wreaths laid alongside that of the association . Speeches were made by numerous ambassadors from all these countries.
